2009 Aston Martin DBS, rare MANUAL £95,000
The DB9 was the start of a new era for Aston Martin. An all-new 2+2 seater sports car, which combined its large 5.9L V12 engine with classic Aston Martin luxury and class. Then came the DBS. A grand tourer with even higher performance to do battle with the likes of Ferraris 599 GTB. Whilst it was based on the DB9, using the same 5.9L V12, it was built as a successor to their previous flagship model, the Vanquish S. The DBS was flung into mainstream awareness as a brand new Bond car for a brand new Bond, in 2006’s Casino Royale, providing an instantly legendary status.
Just as remarkable was its performance, with 510hp providing 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. All sent through a 6-speed manual transmission on this particular car. This car is finished in metallic grey, finely resembling the legendary Bond car from Casino Royale, and has covered just 33,305 in its 10 years.
The interior is finished in black alcantara and leather, with contrasting white stitching and DBS logo seat stitchings. The seats are fully adjustable, and the interior additionally benefits from carbon fibre door trims and pulls, a piano black facia and a black leather dashboard. It also features 20” diamond cut alloy wheels. It comes complete with Aston Martin service history with service stamps in its Owner’s Guide. A car to go down in history as one of Aston’s greats, not only from its movie heritage, but the fantastic mating of their naturally aspirated 5.9L V12 with the all-engaging 6spd manual transmission.
