2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera 4 GTS

The early version of the 991 Carrera GTS was the ultimate model of the Carrera range, featuring a collection of black-coloured trim parts and a large list of options. Whilst it is certainly not a dated model it has since been updated as part of the current 991.2-generation lineup.

As with all the .2 Carreras, it now benefits from two turbochargers providing 20 more horsepower, increasing it to 450hp. It now features Porsche’s Active Suspension Management as standard, dropping the ride height by 10mm, and a collection of further upgrades including a new steering wheel. Another new feature is the ‘Sport Response mode’, which improves response from the powertrain pushing you back in your seat even more.

The options on this particular model include switchable exhaust, nose lift and satellite navigation. It benefits from the PDK gearbox, which improves the 0-62 time from 4.0s to 3.6s, and vastly improves the mpg as well. Another notable feature is the full glass sunroof, which can be opened to get the feel of a targa, whilst keeping the coupe’s lines. Being a Carrera 4 GTS, it also uses Porsche’s four wheel drive system, a valuable option that vastly improves traction and launch times. Plus for cruising down the motorway, this car additionally comes with the BOSE Surround Sound system.

The car is finished in metallic Carrera White Pearl and boasts red stitching and seatbelts inside, matching the red callipers. It has been driven over 2600 miles and has spent its life in our fully-dehumidified facility at Universal Classic Cars.
