2015 Ford Ranger Wildtrak – Rare Brittle ‘Rich Brit’ £19,000
The generation of Ford Ranger that you see infront of you, codenamed T6, was Ford’s first Ranger to sit permanently in its lineup of all cars, to be sold worldwide to more than 180 countries. One particular development of the T6 Ranger was the Wildtrak, which was marketed as a special edition of the 4-door model with a 3.2L Duratorq diesel. It was distinguished by model-specific 18-inch wheels and a selection of both interior and exterior trim pieces. Another key distinctive feature was the ‘Pride Orange’ details to the interior.
However this is not an ordinary Ford Ranger Wildtrak. This automatic example has had the Brittle treatment. Brittle Motor Group specialise in the sale and upgrade of prestigious and specialist cars. The here named ‘Rich Brit’ is a classic example of their work. In addition to the Wildtrak specification, Brittle has added a series of upgrades to create a more menacing appearance. The visual exterior upgrades include 20” Lenso matte black wheels, extended wheel arches, front grille day-time running lights, de-chromed side and roof bars and colour coded bumpers and arches to the metallic black paintwork.
Inside the cabin the impressions are the same. A host of contemporary upgrades include a rear parking camera display within the rear-view mirror, heated seats with lumbar support, a centre console coolbox and a mid-light tint on the rear windows. And this example is unique in that it has fitted a Pioneer head unit with Apple Car Play, as well as waterproof floor mats both in the cab and the bed.
The car has driven just over 49k miles and the V5 states 2 former keepers. It is additionally fitted with a tow bar and front bonnet guard, and the original Wildtrak carpets are included.
