Welcome to the Porsche 996 GT2. This is the 2nd generation of GT2 that Porsche released, the first being based on the 993 platform. The 996 GT2 released in 2001 with 463hp all going through the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. A mix of this and the twin turbo 3.6l Metzger engine gave the car its ‘widow maker’ nickname.
