2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S – £91,750

The car’s appearance in ‘Die Another Day’ ensured its place in James Bond history and has helped to make this an instantly recognisable model.

Building on the sales success of the original Vanquish, 2005 saw the production of the Vanquish S.  Featuring an increase in engine power (up from 460bhp to 520bhp) and revised gear and back axle ratios. Top speed was quoted as being in excess of 200mph, making it one of the fastest Aston Martin road cars built at Newport Pagnell.

The exterior panels were still lovingly hand finished in the factory panel shop from ‘Super-formed’ aluminium. Discreet changes to ‘S’ included a bigger, revised grille, front splitter and a raised rear ‘spoiler’ built into the boot lid to keep the car stable at high speed.

Inside Vanquish S showed what could be achieved with beautiful hand stitched leather. The dashboard and many of the smaller interior pieces were now trimmed in hide adding to the feel of the already impressive cabin.

This particular Vanquish S is a 2005 model finished in Royal Blue paint with contrasting blue and cream leather interior.  Benefitting from a complete no expense spared  bespoke retrim. What was already a great interior, is now a truly lovely place to be.  Aston Martin Logos embroidered into the Recaro back rests are a nice touch that suits the finish of the interior beautifully.  2 seater only, means there is a decent luggage space behind the front seats should it be required for longer tours.

Having covered only 41,522 miles and a full up to date service history (last service February 2022) this Vanquish S is ready for the road and the impressive 5.9 litre V12 really sings.
